AS80-TUNER
This tuner is designed to provide the highest performance possible on
160 meters,
full performance on 80 and 75 meters. The large
inductors have extremely high Qs. So loss is minimal
even on 160 meters. The coils are not used on 75 meters, and only
approximately one turn
is used on 80m CW. Can be easily modified to work on the
new 60m band as a system.
This system coupled with our vertical will give you a truly big signal
on the low bands. Coils
are set by the user for optimal performance with your vertical.
Controller is the same 12V DC 6 position controller used on
our RATPak product.
With 32 buried radials 60 feet long, we see the following.
160 (~30 kHz under 2:1)
80 CW (3.5-3.7 under 1.5:1)
75 SSB ( 3.7 - 3.9 under 1.5:1)
