Array Solutions is both a Manufacturer and Importer of the best
products in the world.
Array Solutions has a great reputation, we also have the luxury of
having quality companies from Europe asking us to sell and service their
products in North America. We choose them carefully. And we pride ourselves
in offering the BEST amateur and commercial products available. This is a
good thing. Were stable, well funded, and growing. We hire the best people
we can find to make it work for you, the customer that requires quality and
service.
Strength and Long Term Support
We have been a real business since 1997. And were proud of our history
of serving the ham market and who can blame us for making a quality
instrument for the military and commercial market places, at a great price.
Yes it is not the least expensive wattmeter/station monitor, but it is even
better then the even more expensive amateur and commercial meters. Read
the reviews we have earned in the trade magazines.
Software
Most wattmeter users do not care to have their meter being tied to a
computer. They want a stand alone meter that is NOT complicated to use,
doesn't need a computer, and has the correct information at a glance. We
think we exceed this requirement. But if you want software, we give the
LITE program to you for free. It works on all Microsoft windows operating
systems from 98 to VISTA.
Vector Impedance Analyzer
We have one of the best, it is called the AIM 4170. It can make as
accurate a measurement as a
commercial $50K analyzer.
Some manufacturers use an ADI chip that can do a similar function but it
cannot tell the sign of the reactance. We know, we rejected that chip along
time ago for several reasons including dynamic range. We developed the AIM
analyzer to be the best choice for the money, and did not make it our
wattmeter choice due to the limitation in the device.
We have patent pending to protect our technology! Watch for
further developments on our professional line of impedance analyzer, the
PowerAim.
Station Monitor and Alarms
It took us about 3 man years to design, productize, and program this
meter and we are very proud of our accomplishment. Don't be fooled by
claims of being first, or knocked off. We were in the digital power meter &
station monitor game before the others started.
We had internet downloading of firmware planned as a feature. It was a
main design goal, not an after thought. This means your investment will not
go obsolete. We have some cool ideas for the future for your meter. See the
PRO Software pages.
Multi-Coupler use
You can already put two of our couplers in parallel and the meter will
read them both. Now we have an 8 coupler hub. The professional user of a
multi co-located transmitter site uses one of our meters to monitor up to 8
transmitters simultaneously. Talk about savings! And you can read them all
on the internet and archive the data in a meaningful way to spot trends,
and channel usage.
Professional RF services will benefit from this, please call us to learn
more.
Extending the distance from the meter to the couplers, Loss, and RFI
No problem, we do not send an RF sample to the meter head. We send a DC
sample to a high impedance buffer. Extend it as long as you wish. High RF
fields will not affect it. Others claim their RF sample is not affected.
The Laws of Physics dispute this claim. Strong RF fields can affect the
sample and coax loss is a factor. The ADI chip requires an RF sample and
this is another reason we did not select it for our Power Master.
We also were the first ones to add station monitor functions to the
meter so the user can save an expensive amplifier from unnecessary damage.
The safety alarms work and they are very, very fast. Investment in the
future
Power Power and more Power.
Don't be concerned, we have sold so many 10KW couplers and 20KW couplers
to our original beta partners and users and now customers that this
is not even a concern. Since the inception of the PowerMaster we developed
a high power solution that was not an afterthought. Sure a couple units
blew up in the early days. But we replaced them with bigger cores and lots
of insulation. We use RG393 and hard-line in the big boys. These
meters are so solid that the broadcast and military have discovered them.
Need a bigger coupler, let our team build it for you!

professional broadcast engineer on our staff.
