What's new in PowerMaster
firmware features rev 3.0 (1003B)
1 The selection of multiple couplers and trim groups.
2 Single digit decimal display of power under 100 watts.
3 User selectable automatic reset of VSWR or power
alarms.
4 Additional mode for long 5 second hold of digital displays.
4. User selectable data rate.
Version 2.0F firmware adds features: to the Power monitor
function to make it more powerful and also to how power is measured. You
may now select two types of power measurement techniques.
1.
“HIGH POWER ALARM” Menu
added
If the peak power
exceeds this setting the power alarm LED will flash and the power monitor
relay will cycle on and off. If the Alarm Trips Amp option is selected then
the VSWR alarm LED will also flash and the PTT/ALC relay will actuate but will
not cycle.
2. “ALARM TRIPS
AMP” Menu added
This menu option allows
the high power alarm to actuate the PTT/ALC relay just like a VSWR alarm does.
3. "POWER
DISPLAY" Menu added
This menu
allows selection of two power measurement modes
Net Power ( Forward Power – Reverse Power)
Forward Power only ( Reverse power is not subtracted)

UPDATE Instructions
OR
here is what one user wrote to the Array Solutions User's group
ArraySolutions First PowerMaster FirmWare Update
I removed PMLITE Version 1 from my computer via Windows Control Panel Add
remove programs.
Then I downloaded the new PMLITE Version 2 and installed it. I ran
PMLITE
Version 2 and it ran perfectly with my PM meter.
Next I downloaded the new: PM01002FWUpdate.zip file.
When I unzipped this file it created: PM01002.exe When I ran this file
it
created: PM01002.CRH in my Programs list on the computer.
Next I found the UpDate button in PMLITE Version 2. When I pushed this
button the Update started, a beautiful picture of the meter was shown with
a moving data stream entering the meter. A progress bar was shown in
real
time below the picture of the meter. The meter display announced what
was
happening in real time.
What, a fantastic show. This was beautifully implemented and displayed.
This was the most enjoyable FirmWare download I have ever experienced.
************ Bottom Line ************
My PM meter can show True Forward power or Net Forward Power, plus Two
other fine features.
Thanks Jay and Team for another job well done.
