Array Solutions StackMaster

A 4 antenna stack controller for monoband Yagi stacks. The StackMaster maintains a 50 ohm match to all combinations of any 1, any 2, any 3, or all 4 antennas in your stack. It allows easy selection of any combination of the antennas from the controller inside your station. The new style electronic controller utilizes easy-to-push buttons with LEDs on the button to indicate which antennas are selected. Basically one just touches the button to select the antenna desired or touch the button again to take it out. All unselected antennas are grounded. The StackMaster utilizes high power relays which conservatively can handle more than 10 KW CW as well as giving tremendous isolation. This makes reliability very high, as in all Array Solutions' products. Reliability is further enhanced by incorporating the PTT (push to talk) line as an input to the electronic controller. This feature locks out being able to change any antenna selections while transmitting and assures that no accidental hot switching can occur. To learn more about the controller see Universal Controller data sheet The StackMaster system also incorporates Lightning protection for all control lines and as options the Array Solutions Dual Feedline option may be added at any time for two radio operation of the stack and the 180 degree phase shifter may also be added at any time. The controller has relay to drive the output voltage and also supplies relay isolated contacts to furthar enhance surge protection. It may be supplied with up to 50V drive voltage is you wish. Matching of the antennas is accomplished through the use of four 1/4-wave professionally built and measured coaxial stubs which attach to the StackMaster. The user can order the StackMaster with or without Stubs, allowing the user to build their own matching lines and save costs. Amateur Band must be specified when ordering. There is an "AUX." auxiliary position on the controller which supplies voltage to an output relay. This can be used to control any function the user may wish to add to the array. For instance this position can also be used to select a 5th antenna and deselect an antennas in the normal 4 high stack. This is useful for instance to use another antenna on another tower or another antenna that is fixed in a particular position, without having to wait to turn a rotor. The StackMaster will operate from 1.8 through 54 Mhz and is rated at 10 KW CW. The controller is operated with 12V DC supplied by the user, and draws up to 500 ma, it is connected to the selector switch via a terminal strip on the board. A 10 wire cable is necessary to connect the switch with the StackMatch. See Price List
