     I must thank you now. The K9AY loop system (AYL-2) you sent me has
done a fantastic job of listening. Just now I logged 3B9C on 1.822 MHz
with the help of the unit. My other antennas just could not pick up the
signal of the Dxpedition but the K9AY loop did a marvelous job.
     The installation is above ground. Indeed, it is up on a 40 foot
tower and the loop wire is supported by spreaders of a Gem Quad.
Grounding is at three points on the tower and the multiband yagi boom
below it.
     Front to back is as published or even better and I habitually check
this out with JA and DU stations. Signals off the back just drop out or
become S1 from S9.
